Listening hands…

I was looking through some old note books and I found this poem. I wrote it back in November 2019 - I must have been feeling introspective after some push hands practice.

Listening hands…

Drip… drip… drip…

Information passes slowly as if through an invisible membrane, touch teaching more than words ever can!

Rise and fall, float and sink. Contract and expand, in and out…

All merge together, overlapping and becoming one.

Too much tension loses feeling, too little ends in collapse - both lead to loss.

Move in harmony with fluidity and freedom!
