Mae-geri, mae-geri

Mae-geri, or front kick, is a fundamental martial arts technique commonly used in karate. It involves lifting the knee sharply and extending the leg forward with the ball of the foot aimed at the target. This exercise requires maintaining a straight back and proper posture to generate maximum power, as well as good balance and mobility to execute the kick effectively without losing stability. Properly practicing mae-geri can improve overall leg strength, coordination, and agility, making it an essential component of a martial artist's training.
