CODE OF CONDUCT
- Arrive on time for classes and personal training sessions
- The karate-gi should be kept clean and in good repair
- Fingernails/toenails must be kept short
- Members must maintain good personal hygiene
- Please refrain from swearing in the Dojo
- Show care and considerations for others
- No eating or drinking on the matted area of the dojo
FEES AND MEMBERSHIP
Monthly payment option:
The fee is calculated to cover 48 weeks of the year over the 12 month period and does not include Bank/Public holidays or two weeks closure during the summer and winter period. Membership is paid monthly with no minimum commitment and can be cancelled by giving one months notice in writing to the Academy. The Karate Academy reserves the right to terminate your membership at any time without notice.
Fees are payable by standing order and are due on the 1st of each month. Late payments may be subject to an additional admin charge of £5 if the Karate Academy has to write to you requesting payment.
On rare occasions, the Academy may have to close due to circumstances beyond our control such as severe weather conditions. In the event that you do miss a class due to unexpected closure we do offer the option of attending an alternative class during that month by appointment. No refunds are available for missed classes.
Per session payment option:
Session fees are due at the start of each class.
The membership fee is due at the end of your first months training and then every 12 months. Students paying by standing order are exempt from membership renewal payments.
24 hours notice of cancellation is required for 1-2-1 session or the fee will be forfeited.
Seminars & Workshops:
Payment for seminars and workshops is non refundable.
Failure to observe the terms and conditions may result in termination of membership.
